Stayed over Christmas as last minute, cheapy booking. Main problem is dearth of veg to degree that is unbelievable. However, breakfast great, food of good quality and staff great. Double room clean and tidy. It is somewhat remote but that is clear on the website so make your own amusement. So much more could be done with all the lounges but this is not a long stay venue.
Just back from an enjoyable twixmas break. The main building is old and therefore has old features including some lovely wood panelling so if you prefer modern go elsewhere. Our standard club room was clean comfortable and warm - the bathroom was old fashioned but everything was in good working order. The food was to our taste although the evening meal choice was limited probably because there were only a few guests but we enjoyed what was available. There was no entertainment for the same reason. Staff were very friendly. This was a very good value break and we would do it again.
Room was quite small and the soap tray in the bathroom was dirty which surprised me. No problems with anything else though. The bed was clean and comfy and the food was ok. The sitting areas were lovely with big chairs and fireplaces. The staff were helpful and polite at all times. All in all we had a nice stay here.
Hotel is quite and inexpensive, breakfast was good although a little costly for what it was.Staff were very nice and extremely helpful.Bed was a bit firm for me, but did my back a world of good. Overnight stay with 8 day parking and a cooked breakfast for 80 quid, what's not to like? All in all a good experience. We will stay here again if flying out of Prestwick airport.
A group of us went on a national holiday to Glasgow. We stopped at the Adamton Country House and cannot fault our stay here.There are a lot of negative comments about this Country House which I think from our experience is totally unfounded. The staff couldn't do enough for you very friendly. Food was good. Rooms were very clean had two great night sleeps. I would definitely reccomend this hotel and wouldn't think twice about returning.
